Oberammergau - 2010
We are booking a group to go to Oberammergau in 2010. In the village of Oberammergau, at the end of a 30 year war there was an outbreak of the plague in Balvaria. The elders of the village vowed that if God would show His compassion, every ten years, they would assemble and enact the Passion of our Lord, the plague left the village in 1633 and the people of Oberammergau have performed the Passion play ever since. The next one is in 2010 and is very popular therefore booking has to be done early. The cost of the holiday is £995, initial deposit is £200 (+£30 travel insurance if needed), Laura would appreciate any deposits by 11th May so as to confirm the places booked, 15 places have been booked and 9 have, so far, been claimed. In July 2009 £300 will be required and the balance will be due 8 weeks before departure. You will need to indicate who you wish to share with as well. We will spend 8 days in the Tyrol and travel to the village staying over night. Please let Laura know if you wish to be part of this party and give your deposit by 11th May, it will be first come first served. The date of departure is 7th September 2010 and we will fly from Manchester.
